Dr. Alok Goyal is a knowledgeable and devoted physician who has been practicing for over 30 years.

Education and Career:

Dr. Goyal received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry with honors (summa cum laude) from Columbia University in New York, NY.  He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY in 1984.

Dr. Goyal completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Hospital (New York, NY) and proceeded to obtain a fellowship in Gastroenterology from SUNY- Downstate (Brooklyn, NY).

​

After finishing fellowship, he started his practice in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in South Plainfield and Perth Amboy. He became the Chief of Gastroenterology at Muhlenberg Hospital. He also has a strong focus in preventative medicine.

​

Dr. Goyal remains dual board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
